Public art piece. Jimbo Phillips did the wave drawing, Diamond D Concrete did the staining and Larry Crocker did the sand blasting. (We went to elementary school, high school together at Aptos) Pure passion. Had the key to the park for a month. Police had to come out twice when I was testing the waters so to speak. They were totally cool. Sorry I couldn't help myself and the main reason to ever do a public art skatepark project. All the players working on this project were born and raised in Santa Cruz!
